Nurses migration and registration
Australian nurse migration assistance
Moving to Australia as a nurse involves four separate pieces: English, registration, skills assessment and a visa. We help you put them in the right order and keep track of each one.
Most of the confusion about nursing in Australia comes from treating it as one application. It is not. The NMBA and Ahpra decide whether you can practise. ANMAC assesses your skills for migration. The Department of Home Affairs decides your visa. And almost every step asks for English test results.
We map your journey across all four, so you know what to do first, what can run in parallel, and what each step costs in time. For the visa itself, Australian immigration advice should come from a registered migration agent, and we work with one where that is needed.

Frequently asked questions
What should I do first?
Usually the English test and the NMBA Self-check. Both affect everything that follows, and the Self-check is free.
Can I go to Australia without a job offer?
Some skilled visas do not need a job offer, others are employer sponsored. Which one fits depends on your situation and current visa rules.
How long does the whole process take?
It varies a lot: English results, the registration stream, assessment bookings and visa processing all play a part. We give you a realistic timeline after looking at your profile.

Please note
Registration, skills assessment and visa decisions are made by the NMBA and Ahpra, ANMAC and the Department of Home Affairs respectively. 4 IN LIFE cannot guarantee any outcome and does not provide Australian immigration advice except through a registered migration agent.
